Not doing so great at last years Mr. Olympia, and seemingly losing his momentum in the sport of bodybuilding, this competition didn’t seem like it would yield Melvin Anthony as the winner. As all were saying, this would be Tony Freeman’s show to lose. Melvin came in marvelous condition, arguably the best he has ever competed in before, and walked away with a victory. Hidetada, also coming in what would be considered his best and sharpest competition shape, got second place. Toney Freeman, who we expected to steal the show, was lacking in his conditioning.

Stan Efferding is somewhat of a newly recognized professional bodybuilder. He was born November 6, 1967 which means he is not in the young end of the bodybuilding spectrum. At 42 years old, Stan has accomplished many things, both in the bodybuilding and powerlifting world as well as his financial success as a business man. He has been able to Squat 821 pounds, Deadlift 793, and bench press 606 pounds! It’s no wonder why people are curious as to how this guy is training.
