Dean Lesiak on Building a Huge Back

MuscleTech Gakic Pro Series - 128 Caplets

Dean Lesiak, a 29-year-old bodybuilder from South Birmingham decided to share some information today about some of his secrets to building a strong and massive back. Building a good back is essential on the bodybuilding stage. Many will recall the expression that “shows are won from the back”. Let’s take a look at what Dean Lesiak has to say.

MuscleLegion: How tall are you and what are your competition and off season weight?

Dean: I’m 5’7 and I weigh around 220 pounds in the offseason. I’m around 200 pounds on stage.

Musclelegion: Where are you currently in bodybuilding and what are you planning for the future?

Dean: I’m doing the British in October. I did the same show last year and came in second place.

MuscleLegion: What do you think is important to building a massive back?

Dean: I think doing Deadlifts, Barbell Rows, and Wide Grip Chin Ups are all a must. It’s hard to go wrong with those. I’m constantly changing my routine. I like to start with heavy, compound movements and then move to super sets and keep pyramiding the weight. dea1

MuscleLegion: How long is your workout? And how often do you train your back?

Dean: I train every body part only once a week. Most workouts will be one hour long, but if I’m doing a lot of heavy lifting then they may take as long as two hours.

MuscleLegion: Is there anything else you would like to add for those looking to increase the size of their back?

Dean: Deadlift until you’re sick and then just keep eating and eating!

Big thanks to Dean Lesiak for taking the time to give us information on his back routine.
